Entry and Registration

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

1.2 Purchase of a Raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 Entry is open to all permanent residents of Victoria over the age of 18. 

1.4 Incomplete entries will be ineligible. Complete entries will include a first and last name, an email address and a telephone number, at a minimum.

1.5 The drawing of the raffle is being co-conducted by representatives of Daylesford CFA and Cliffy's Emporium.

1.6 Raffle ticket sales will commence on Friday 24 November 2023 and conclude at 11:00 am on Sunday, 25 December 2023. 

1.7 Early Bird Prize 

1.7.1 The drawing of the Early Bird Prize is being co-conducted by representatives of Daylesford CFA and Cliffy's Emporium.

1.7.2 Early Bird Prize ticket sales will commence on Friday 24 November 2023 and conclude at 12 pm on Thursday 30 November 2023.

Raffle Draw Process

2.1 The draw for the winners will take place at 12:00 pm on 25 December 2023.

2.2 Entrants need not be present to win.

2.3 Early Bird Prize will take place at 4 pm on Thursday 30 November 2023.

2.4 Winning entries will be drawn electronically.

Winning Entries

3.1 Cliffy's Emporium reserves the right to request winners to show proof of identification suitable for verification prior to the release of prizes to winners.

3.2 All winners will be notified by email by Tuesday 27 December 2022, within 3 days of the winners being drawn, and the winners' names will be published on Cliffy's social media pages.

Fulfilment and Delivery / Collection of Prizes

Cliffy's Emporium will deliver prizes within a 10km radius of the business address within 28 days of the raffle being drawn. Beyond these limits, prize winners must collect the prize in person from 30 Raglan Street, Daylesford, Victoria 3460.

General Conditions

5.1 Total prize pool is valued at $11,500 as of 24 November 2023 and values are as follows:

1st Draw – TBC 1 December 2023

2nd Draw – TBC 1 December 2023

3rd Draw – TBC 1 December 2023

4th Draw – TBC 1 December 2023

5th Draw – TBC 1 December 2023

6th Draw - TBC 1 December 2023

Subsequent draws may take place once final prize pool is confirmed. 

5.2 Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of promoting. All prize values are in Australian dollars.

5.3 Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

5.4 All images are for promotional purposes only.

5.5 If for any reason the Raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Cliffy's Emporium, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, Cliffy's Emporium reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Raffle, subject to any direction given under state permit regulations.

5.6 In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, damaging weather events, civil unrest, strikes; Cliffy's Emporium may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.

5.7 Cliffy's Emporium reserves the right to disqualify any person who Cliffy’s Emporium has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to interfere with the fair and proper conduct of this Raffle.

5.8 Cliffy's Emporium accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss, damage or liability suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to the prizes or the raffle, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The winners release Cliffy's Emporium, their related bodies, corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the prizes.
